The result was no consensus‎__EXPECTED_UNCONNECTED_PAGE__. I'll leave this as it is (a redirect) for now, but be aware that In Honor of a Lifetime of Sexual Assault is already proposed for deletion. asilvering (talk) 17:34, 7 November 2024 (UTC)

WP:NOTNEWS, and a variation on Wikipedia:Not every single thing Donald Trump does deserves an article. It happened, yes, but what is the lasting impact? It's just another protest against a politician, though in a somewhat original format, which gave it 5 minutes of fame. Fram (talk) 17:28, 31 October 2024 (UTC)

:* Draftify to give possible time for improvements and to wait for potential future coverage. Not ready for main space.

  • Draftify I'm not sure Wikipedia should keep any of them. Please see [https://mikerowe.com/2021/04/p-t-barnum-once-said-theres-no-such-thing-as-bad-publicity/ There’s no such thing as bad publicity] (i.e. things like this keep his name and image before the pubic). On the other hand, I don't see Wikipedia guidelines on what to do about this. — Maile (talk) 19:04, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
  • I think the Philadelphia and Portland statues are similar, but not the same. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:27, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
  • :[https://www.phillyvoice.com/donald-trump-statue-philly-maja-park/] says "An identical one showed up in Portland, Oregon earlier this week". They're not as identical as bronze casts, but they are still functionally enough the same that there is no reason for two separate articles. Reywas92Talk 19:39, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
  • Delete Non-notable temporary art installation. Nate (chatter) 21:40, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
  • Keep merged page as redirect. Since there are now more sources covering both statues together, including [https://www.kuow.org/stories/it-s-not-just-d-c-satirical-trump-statues-are-appearing-in-cities-across-the-u-s some] using "In Honor of a Lifetime of Sexual Assault" as the title for both, I've redirected the Philadelphia page and moved the Portland page so both can be covered under the official title. I've left the AfD tag on the redirect to avoid removing a template inappropriately. I request to have the redirect page kept (because it serves a purpose) and propose closing this discussion as moot. I've been bold here but hope this compromise / solution works for others. ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:02, 31 October 2024 (UTC)

:* Keep merged page as redirect
