Comment: it appears there's an [http://ko.wikipedia.org/wiki/%EA%B0%95%EC%84%B1%ED%98%B8_%28%EC%97%AD%EC%82%AC%ED%95%99%EC%9E%90%29 article] in the Korean Wikipedia for Dr Kang as "Kang Sungho (Historian)". Delete In Korean, the name alone is too common to serve as a useful search term, but I can find absolutely no independent reliable sources whatsoever about any of his books:
