• Keep. Clearly not a hoax; multiple national titles and long racing career, as covered in The Press newspaper between 1978 and 1988 at [https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers?items_per_page=100&query=%22ted+tracey%22&snippet=true&sort_by=byDA PapersPast]. The Press is the only NZ newspaper currently with full online coverage from this period. Given that Tracey was from Auckland, and The Press is a Christchurch newspaper, it is safe to assume that there would be even fuller and more extensive coverage in the New Zealand Herald and Auckland Star newspapers during that period. Was hoping Trove from Australia's national library would have something [https://trove.nla.gov.au/search?keyword=Ted%20Tracey], they don't; I wonder if he's too modern to be in there. • Comment - I've struck my vote, now Neutral. The IndyStar article is good. The other sourcing isn't enough for me to !vote keep but I recognize the WP:POTENTIAL for further offline articles to exist for a subject whose activities far predated mass use of the internet. ― "Ghost of Dan Gurney" (talk)  02:03, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
