  • Keep - This is not the recreation of material from a previous AFD at all. The reason the article was originally deleted was because it did not provide sources to prove notability. The article I have created does provide these sources and establishes notability. Neelix (talk) 17:02, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
  • Comment, I agree with Neelix's comments (both here and on the talkpage using "hangon"), therefore I removed the speedy deletion request. The previous AFD (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Ringleader: Mixtape Volume III) was sorely lacking in participate, as it were. Let the afd play out at this point. No comment from me as far as keeping or deleting at this point, I haven't researched. Keeper {{IPA|ǀ}} 76 17:34, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
  • Redirect and merge material to page on the artist. Artist is notable, but this album is probably not. Albums are not notable unless there are several independent articles either talking about or reviewing the album. See WP:Music. In general, albums (even if notable) should be merged into the artist's page if space permits.   • Reply It is not just the number but also the quality of the sources. Just one article in Rolling Stone is enough to make an album notable. I have no idea how significant those reviews are so I won't judge notability. However, even if the album is notable, if it fits on the artist's page, it should be merged into it. There is no need to have multiple (very) short pages, if the material can fit comfortably on a single page. Guidelines on WP:MUSIC states that albums should be included on the artist's page unless there is no room to do so. Wikipedia pages should not be needlessly multiplied, and should not be seen as badges of honor. lk (talk) 10:14, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
  • Comment - I was not aware of this guideline. Thank you for quoting it. Given this information, it makes sense to merge. My only concern is the loss of the categories. Is it possible to maintain the album's listings in the appropriate categories even if the album does not have its own article? Neelix (talk) 13:02, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
