The result was no consensus. There is no consensus to delete, only deletion alternatives, which can be done outside of AfD. Two people explicitly say that the article clearly passes WP:GNG. If anyone wants me to reverse the close, I will do so as soon as possible. This is long overdue for a close – 4 days, in fact, and I feel that NC is the best option here. The newspaper, with a daily circulation of [http://inpr.odisha.gov.in/Download/Approved_news_periodicals.pdf over 150,000] [https://books.google.com/books?id=cOo_oej8Oc0C&pg=PA151& may] prove to be notable enough but the current article (right from the [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Samaya&oldid=696900202 first draft]) is a copyvio of the newspaper's [http://www.samayaepaper.com/aboutus.php About Us] page and thus needs to be speedy-deleted. No prejudice against recreation if article is rewritten and included citations indicate that WP:GNG has been met. Abecedare (talk) 06:33, 27 September 2018 (UTC)

Keep. This article clearly passes the WP:GNG. It passes WP:NMEDIA as well. Ample WP:RS online, of which I just added a second one to the article. This nomination is part of a unfortunate series (see for example Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sambad) that clearly fails WP:BEFORE and WP:NEXIST. gidonb (talk) 02:25, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
