Subject, a professor of physics, does not appear to meet WP:PROF or WP:BIO. As with all academics, Google Scholar presents a number of papers, but none seem to be particularly well cited (note, this does not seem to be the same person as DT Wickramsinghe, who is better cited). "General References" provided prove he exists, is a professor at the College of Jersey, has been on field expeditions, and given lectures, but nothing that makes this person stand out as being notable in a Wikipedia sense.
