Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/TransOhio

The result was speedy delete as advertising. This article's primary purpose is to give dates, addresses, and telephone numbers, and it is written in the first person and exhorts the reader in the second person. This would require a complete rewrite from the ground up to become an encyclopaedia article. My attempts to find sources to use in order to kerrrzappp this advertisment came up empty. There is no reason to retain this blatant advertisement whilst waiting for a proper encyclopaedia article to be written, should sources on this subject ever appear. Wikipedia is neither a free web host nor an advertising billboard.

Incidentally, there appear to have been two banks — one bank formed in the 1980s and a second bank that was, at least, planned in the 1960s (although I found no evidence that the plans came to fruition in my search for sources). Uncle G (talk) 01:38, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Disputed prod. Article makes no assertion of notability, and primary Google hits reference a failed bank of the same name. I'm not saying the group doesn't do important work: just that there is no evidence given that they should have an article here. SarekOfVulcan (talk) 18:39, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
