Unreferenced, does not explain why this event meets WP:GNG. My BEFORE shows some passing mentions but nothing that would help to show how this was significant. An WP:ATD could be a redirect to Umbro, although I cannot suggest any merge given lack of references. This marketing stunt is also not mentioned in the target article, which would be a prerequisite for a redirect... Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 11:28, 28 August 2023 (UTC)

- Delete - no evidence of notability. If sources are found please ping me. GiantSnowman 15:44, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
- Keep (Edited:Per added sources from ChrisTheDude) Article is not unreferenced, has external links to YouTube videos which count towards notability and two at the bottom ([https://www.rsssf.org/tablesu/umbro95.html]). I have a slight problem here with the title, there were in fact multiple different cups sponsored by Umbro, this one might need the year adding to it. As you have results like this ([https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/umbro-cup-success-for-central-teams/] which shows other Umbro Cup Tournaments.) Also [http://www.englandfootballonline.com/CmpT/CmpT1995.html], [http://soccernostalgia.blogspot.com/2017/12/tournaments-part-9-umbro-cup-1995.html], [https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/news/england-sweden-umbro-cup-1995/], [https://eu-football.info/_matches.php?id=60&year=1995], I must admit that results on the web are poor. However I'd expect there will be published WP:OFFLINE materials. Newspaper searches haven't been done here either and I expect that to have results as well. It's not a marketing stunt, it's a rehearsal tournament for UEFA Euro 1996 as stated in the article. So part of your delete nomination is floored in argument. And {{ping|GiantSnowman}}, is it possible you can stop posting the same thing over and over again at AfD like some generic bot? It gets tiresome and irksome to see that. Thank you. - {{ping|Govvy}} - I just added half a dozen newspaper sources. There will be lots more but I really need to get back to work...... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 10:29, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
- :Lots of match reports from the tournament - where is the significant coverage? GiantSnowman 18:04, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
- ::Genuine question, what sort of significant coverage can there be of a tournament other than detailed reports of the matches that constitute said tournament? -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 18:49, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
- Keep lots of reliable third person sources to justify notability. Dwanyewest (talk) 07:54, 4 September 2023 (UTC)

- Keep the tournament itself wasn't really that important, but there's easily enough coverage to have an article on it. SportingFlyer T·C 12:58, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
- Keep Multiple reliable sources present in the article, this wasn’t any kind of marketing stunt, just your standard sponsorship deal. Similar to the Audi Cup. REDMAN 2019 (talk) 15:32, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
