Non-notable session musician. Ridernyc (talk) 19:05, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
- Keep. Member of a notable band with enough outside activity, as shown [http://books.google.com/books?id=dDKfGRCq73cC&pg=PA58&dq=%22valentine+Chin%22&client=firefox-a&cd=1#v=onepage&q=%22valentine%20Chin%22&f=false here], to justify a standalone article. Note that the reference book credits him with developing an influential guitar style, a significant indicator of notability. Article should probably be moved to Tony Chin, as that form of his name appears more common. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 19:39, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
- Keep. Anyone who knows anything about Jamaican music would know that "non-notable session musician" is a ridiculously inappropriate description. He has substantial entries in 2 print encyclopedias on reggae that I own, which is itself enough for us to have an article here.--Michig (talk) 21:45, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
