Even assuming good faith that the dead link to the PDF mentioned him in passing, the subject is still not worthy of inclusion in this encyclopedia. Let's analyse each claim of notability and show why it lacks merit:

  • That he was head of a county party organisation. In tandem with elective office, or with particular notoriety in this position, that may mean notability, but not by itself.
  • That he was secretary general at a ministry. Well, as you can see from that ministry's [http://www.minind.ro/minister/organigrama_30_07_2010.pdf organisational chart] (which I'm sure has changed since the 1920s, but the basic idea is the same), "secretary general" is just another government functionary, one who doesn't even form part of the ministry's [http://www.minind.ro/conducerev.html leadership]. It's certainly not a position of ministerial rank.
  • That he held a position at the Bucharest Stock Exchange. And...?
  • That he had to leave this position under a cloud. Again, if his departure was widely publicised in newspapers of the day, or in later scholarly works, that would be something. But we have no evidence of that.

Filotti seems to have had an interesting enough career, but nothing in particular raises him above the millions of others with interesting enough careers, and therefore we should delete. - Biruitorul Talk 20:47, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
