The article is very well-written and formatted, but relies almost exclusively on primary sources, brief mentions and low-quality sources. The only acceptable sources in the article are those related to his appointment as vice chancellor[http://www.legallyindia.com/201410145187/Law-schools/nlujaa-appoints-nalsar-registrar-as-vc][http://www.livelaw.in/nalsar-registrar-selected-vc-nlu-assam-conceding-students-demands/], which would only support a sentence here and could probably be consolidated to the article on the school.   • Keep. Primary sources are from Indian government websites which are very reliable when it comes to official information. Also the person appears to be notable as such. Mr RD 09:40, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
  • Keep: Article needs additional info (in-line with the suggestions/guidance provided in the biography template) and secondary references. I was able to dig out a few that can be added further to enrich the biography , achievements etc that will make the page informative and comprehensive. AFD seems to be an extreme measure instead of suggesting changes to the articleDevopam (talk) 06:23, 13 March 2015 (UTC)

  • Keep: At first I was going to vote Merge with the university, but then I read some of the refs. I am surprised that, although it is mentioned in the refs, there is no mentioning in the article itself of the hunger strike among the students for improvements, that lead to his appointment at the university. In my book that makes him more notable. w.carter-Talk 21:43, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
