  • Delete. Losing candidates don't qualify for WP:NPOL unless they satisfy WP:GNG, which in the case of this BLP, it doesn't. Ajf773 (talk) 09:01, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
  • Delete. Does not pass WP:GNG and WP:POLITICIAN as this individual was a losing candidate in an election. Candidates do not get articles for only being candidates, they have to have done something more significant. LefcentrerightTalk (plz ping) 10:35, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
  • Delete. People do not get Wikipedia articles just for running as candidates in elections they did not win — the notability test at WP:NPOL is holding office, not just running for it. But this doesn't even attempt to claim that he has preexisting notability for other reasons independent of the candidacy, and the existence of just one short blurb of routine reportage of election results is not enough "coverage" to hand him a GNG-based exemption from having to pass NPOL. • Delete Fails Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Politicians_and_judges as the subject never won any elections. --DBigXray 05:41, 13 February 2020 (UTC)
  • Delete per WP:NPOL, WP:SIGCOV, and WP:SOAP. Lost their only campaign for public office, as I did. Bearian (talk) 19:59, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
