This person has been an unsuccesful candidate a number of times, and has held various local offices in a few bodies, he does not meet the criteria for notability. PatGallacher (talk) 10:46, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

:Keep - probably doesn't meet WP:POLITICIAN (being a former council vice-chair and current prominent member of one of Northern Ireland's smaller political parties doesn't convey any automatic notability), but that's explicitly trumped by the general notability guideline, which he does meet. In addition to what is in the article, Google News turns up various stories from the local Mid Ulster Mail. Warofdreams talk 10:50, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Weak keep I think he just about scrapes by the general notability guideline from my search on google, although this coverage does need to be added to the article, as what is in the article currently meets verifiability, but is not sufficient for notability. Davewild (talk) 18:54, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
