{{AFI nom|article=Mechanic|class=stub|hits=188}}
- Level 5 vital and gets a decently amount of daily views. It's currently listed as a stub and really short when compared to other professions like Carpentry, and what little is written still is flagged for needing additional sources. ALittleClass (talk) 04:13, 9 June 2025 (UTC)

- Support - per above; also, IMO the article would desperately need to be updated to include more on Wikipedia as well as other online encyclopedias and wikis such as Fandom. Also @Zanahary I'm a little confused on why you think the topic isn't important enough. Perhaps you'd like to elaborate? Gommeh ➡️ Talk to me 01:19, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- :I don’t know how to be more detailed—I don’t think this topic meets the level of encyclopedic importance and value required for me to support devoting an AFI effort to it. On a scale from Weimer Township, Barnes County, North Dakota to Earth, "Online encyclopedia" leans too far to the left. ꧁Zanahary꧂ 01:40, 19 May 2025 (UTC)

- A large island in the Philippines, with a population of 2.6 million people, a lot for a start article. The article seems messy, the infrastructure only has one section, and a lot of media was produced based on Leyte, but only two sentences are present. History is significant here, with Typhoon Haiyan, Battle of Leyte, and yet the History is only two paragraphs.

=Split of Christianity and Judaism=
{{AFI nom|article=Split of Christianity and Judaism|class=Start|hits=125}}
- Vital article. This is a rich, complicated topic—an important topic, explaining the historical emergence of Christianity as a discrete religion from a sect of Judaism. Language and literature
=Tungusic languages=
{{AFI nom|article=Tungusic languages|class=Start|hits=392}}
- Level 5 vital article, important for both general linguistics and Chinese history. There is a huge amount of information on this topic, for example the book The Tungusic Languages (2023). As a point of comparison, the Japonic languages have received a similar level of study as the Tungusic languages, so this article should be brought to at least the level of that article. =The Road Not Taken=
{{AFI nom|article=The Road Not Taken|class=C|hits=1079}}
- This is arguably one of Frost's most famous poems if not of all poetry, at least in the United States, and therefore I feel like the article needs to be improved. The article has some issues currently—it is fairly short, has analysis and popular culture sections that need expanding. I feel like the article should not lean so heavily into the one interpretation of the poem as ironic, as it seems to do in the reception section; while it may be more "correct," at least by how Frost wrote it, but the popular interpretation of the poem is valid in its own right. Honestly, I feel like a lot of the content relating to how the text is misunderstood should be under the analysis section instead. FieryRaven (talk) 16:02, 21 February 2024 (UTC)

=Greenfield tornado=
{{AFI nom|article=Greenfield tornado|class=GA|hits=986}}
- A highly impactful tornado, which had the third fastest winds ever recorded on earth (up to {{convert|318|mph|km/h}} recorded by a radar). The tornado then led to political legislation changes. This article is a Good Article (GA), but improvement can always be done, as it did not pass a recent FAC. The article received [https://pageviews.wmcloud.org/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&agent=user&redirects=0&start=2024-05&end=2025-04&pages=2024_Greenfield_tornado over 141,000 views] in the last 11 months, so it is a highly viewed/searched article. Article growth would be good. The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 00:53, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose, unfortunately - A few things: This tornado wasn't "highly-impactful" if we're talking in tornado terms; hundreds of tornadoes have killed and injured more than this one has and have done more damage. Additionally, GAs are really already up to quality, so this process isn't needed much (also, the guidelines above state {{tq|Stubs; start-class, and short C-class articles are the most ideal for improvement}}. Would suggest another PR, WP:GOCE or another go at FAC instead of this process. Or, we could improve Tornado, which is in need of work? EF5 14:20, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
=Lyme disease=
{{AFI nom|article=Lyme disease|class=B|hits=2400}}
- friends in the Lyme disease community imply to me that the wiki Lyme disease page currently is behind the times on the changing mainstream acceptance of and management of Lyme disease. - Oppose per SVcode. Average pageviews between 3/22/24 and 4/22/24 were 394 daily, only jumping up from DYK. No demonstrated lasting relevancy, AFI is not for writing new articles. Utopes (talk / cont) 05:37, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- :Utopes, actually the page did not accumulate click from DYK as it was removed moments after. Like I said on the nom, she is one of the most searched people in South Africa. dxneo (talk) 10:59, 2 June 2024 (UTC)

- Despite B rating, the article needs considerable attention. Long sections are not cited and the tone needs to be more encyclopedic. Wil540 art (talk) 00:27, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

- In the talk section there was a lot of discussion about splitting the article into two articles, one about anti-CCP sentiment and one about racism against Chinese people, but nothing has been done so far. As user Melsom62 on 14 February 2024 commented, "by the logic of the present version of the article, any political opposition to the dictatorship is 'a form of racism against Asians'." - This topic, though B-rated, is no doubt problematic because its lead does not fully summarize the rest of it and it does not adequately cover Armenophobia in Russia (e.g. Armenophobia among soldiers of the Imperial Russian Army, see [https://books.google.com.tw/books?id=ZPEduby8jNIC&pg=PA167&lpg=PA167&dq=Gadzhemukov&source=bl&ots=kk6XwjFn5v&sig=ACfU3U0VbzPc4-gQ5WJGYnj7-g0uNy2uxg&hl=zh-TW&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjiu5SR1dyEAxU2U_UHHSKIARoQ6AF6BAgHEAM#v=onepage&q=Vorontsov&f=false], p. 166) and mention that in Germany (cf. - Public Domain Day is a yearly celebration of works entering the public domain, a highly relevant topic to Wiki-work, no matter what country you are editing from. The article is start class and could absolutely use improvements. Wil540 art (talk) 21:00, 28 December 2022 (UTC)

- Oppose, article is in fine enough shape (ORES predicts C-class, and I concur), and gets few hits. {{tq|highly relevant topic to Wiki-work}} is a reason to oppose, not support — Wikipedians will naturally gravitate to a topic like this without our help. {{u|Sdkb}} talk 22:32, 21 August 2023 (UTC)

- The article overall looks a bit disorganized and very under-sourced, although users like {{U|KibolLP}} and {{U|Lukaszgieksa}} have done a good job in keeping the infobox data and the squad section up to date. Given the team is based in the hometown that hosted the latest Wikimania, it should be a fun way to honor the occasion, as well! Oltrepier (talk) 12:18, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
