{{Newbot|DeltaQuadBot|8}}
Operator: {{botop|DeltaQuad}}
Time filed: 05:32, Saturday, April 4, 2020 (UTC)
Automatic, Supervised, or Manual: automatic
Programming language(s): Python
Source code available: [https://github.com/UTRS2/utrs/blob/master/python/wikiactions.py Ever changing code]
Function overview: Handles tasks related to WP:UTRS.
Links to relevant discussions (where appropriate): Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/UTRSBot, Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/DeltaQuadBot 7
Edit period(s): Continuous
Estimated number of pages affected: infinite
Exclusion compliant (Yes/No): No
Already has a bot flag (Yes/No): Yes
Function details: Right now, the bot is only in the building phase alongside UTRS 2.0, but to test if it is working correctly while I'm coding, I will need to take live actions. I will attempt to limit the disruption, if any, and undo any edits that are just testing functions. The bot will need to do the following:
- Send email - To both administrators & users through the Special:EmailUser interface
- Edit user talk pages - eventually taking over from {{noping|UTRSBot}}
- Use the API - to access information about blocked users
- Eventually edit the appeals table User:DeltaQuad/UTRS Appeals
I seek prior approval to run testing only edits for the time being, and then will request a full trial when we are ready to accept appeals on UTRS 2.0. I seek approval now as some of the edits could accidentally be disruptive, but they will be minimized. Also there is a new aspect to this approval than prior ones with the use of email.

{{BotTrial}} This is limited to development only and another trial will be required prior to approval. Trusted bot op and former arb. There is no time limit on this trial. --TheSandDoctor Talk 05:38, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
: {{ping|TheSandDoctor|AmandaNP}} Is this still in development? This request seems to have never been transcluded to WP:BRFA, * Pppery * it has begun... 15:15, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
::That's a good point, {{u|Pppery}}. {{u|AmandaNP}} what is the status of this? --TheSandDoctor Talk 04:36, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
