[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Carnivàle#c-RetiredDuke-20240809011700-Featured_Article_in_need_of_review As noted in August 2024] by {{u|RetiredDuke}}, this 2007 FA is sourced primarily to contemporary news reports. However, there is significant high-quality sourcing available which discusses in detail the article subject and its themes, many of which are not mentioned in the article. I reproduce Retired Duke's original non-exhaustive list:

Thus, the article does not meet the FA criteria's requirements for "comprehensivity" and "a thorough and representative survey of the relevant literature". ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 18:56, 15 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the ping. What I can see is that there is significant coverage of this show in scholarly literature (about mythology, the occult, portrayals of the body ("non-normative bodies", "freak show"), temporal structures, etc.) and none of it is reflected in the article.
