The Met Weekly Challenge is a seven-day challenge and collaboration on an individual artwork, or group of artworks, in the public domain collection. Often there will be one main collaboration, and opportunities for other collaborations on secondary themes throughout the week. Topics will be chosen through Wikipedians' input, and links to exhibitions and publications. Please put your suggestions below, for topics that you would like to pursue collectively.
It runs from September 25, 2017 through December 19, 2017, with an "early start" launch for The Horse Fair on September 18.

::We have 195 Met paintings with articles, but other areas of the collections are remarkably poorly covered; concentrating there would make more sense. Johnbod (talk) 01:41, 11 October 2017 (UTC)
- 1.Why aren't we using a discussion/talk page for these conversations?
- 2.Can we still participate in the Weekly challenge even though it ended last year?
- 3.Can we edit the 2018 Wikipedia Asian month into the list of activities for the GLAM/Met Wikis and clearly explain what the rules are for both or at least provide an explanation through hyperlink? I read the rules but they are hard to absorb.
- 4.Specifically how do we know which photos are in Wikimedia Commons and are accurate. An example would be this: File:Crown of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception, known as the Crown of the Andes MET DP365520.jpg and this: File:Crown of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception, known as the Crown of the Andes MET DP365523.jpg and this: File:Crown of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception, known as the Crown of the Andes MET DP365522.jpg In my opinion, not all of these images should exist. Is there something I dont know, basically, a reason for all the pictures?
