National Trust's second pilot began on 14 September 2023 and ran until 26 February 2024. It has two strands of work:
1) Exploring the potential of uploading images of select objects from the collection to Wikimedia Commons.
2) Create guidance and test training methods for staff and volunteers who are interested in learning to edit.
We’re grateful to the editors who supported pilot 1; if you’re interested in pilot 2, please leave a message on the talk page.

=Articles that could be improved=
- Ellen Terry - there are some missing references in the article
- Ellen Terry as Lady Macbeth - missing references and more detail to add on the 2024 display of the dress?
- Beetlewing - missing references and information to add on history of beetle wings in European costumery
- Peacock dress of Lady Curzon - see talk page comment which is a request for further information on its colonial context - article could also do with some sub-headings
- Tredegar House - lots of missing references (including the whole section on the family), see its talk page here
- Radiator cabinet - article only has one reference
- Michael Hobart Seymour lectured at Bath Assembly Rooms - article is poorly referenced, using text from the DNB in 1900, reference [https://www.brepolsonline.net/doi/abs/10.1484/J.RHE.3.12 here]
- Saltram House - add references missing across article - recent carpet re-weave could be added, sources [https://www.axminster-carpets.co.uk/journal/2024/01/73/saltram here], [https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/devon/saltram/things-to-do-in-the-house-at-saltram here] and [https://www.tatler.com/article/exquisite-18th-century-carpet-is-restored-to-its-former-glory-at-saltram here]
- Oxburgh Hall - page could be expanded with more archaeology and history, including attic archaeology from [https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/aug/17/restoration-of-norfolk-hall-uncovers-tudor-and-elizabethan-finds-oxburgh-hall here], [https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/thousands-rare-artifacts-discovered-underneath-attic-floorboards-tudor-manor-180975578/ here], [https://archaeology.co.uk/articles/features/between-the-cracks.htm here] and [https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-53804700 here]
- Margaret Greville who owned Polesden Lacey, her biography needs a couple citations adding, and perhaps more could be added about her life rather just her death and estate?
- Hughenden Manor has several places where additional references could be added
- Stourhead - article is quite good but recent NT projects could be briefly added, such as the return of the Angelica Kaufman portrait ([https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-66962381 here] & [https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/wiltshire/stourhead/the-return-of-penelope-and-euriclea here]) and recent archaeological investigation ([https://planetradio.co.uk/greatest-hits/salisbury/news/stourhead-archaeology-stourton-castle/ here])
- A La Ronde - some references missing towards the end of the article - new additions could be added about the conservation work ([https://www.exmouthjournal.co.uk/news/22641572.conservation-work-starts-la-ronde-exmouth/ here], [https://www.jonathan-rhind.co.uk/blog/sensitive-conservation-works-to-grade-i-listed-national-trust-property-underway/ here], [https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-66790429 here] & [https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/devon/a-la-ronde/journey-with-a-la-ronde here])
- Killerton - there are a couple of references to add to the existing text, as well as recent conservation work ([https://www.theexeterdaily.co.uk/news/local-news/national-trust-celebrates-80th-anniversary-much-loved-killerton-and-holnicote here], [https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-57497965 here], [https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/devon/killerton/killerton-chapel-conservation-project here] & [https://www.devonlive.com/news/devon-news/historic-grade-listed-chapel-killerton-8617706 here]) and recent costume exhibition [https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-64596597 here]

Wikimedian in Residence edits
The goals of this second pilot were to develop internal guidance and policies, as well as upload a discrete number of images and introduce some staff and volunteers to the editing process. Its primary goal wasn't to directly edit pages, so the list of contributions below is much shorter than for pilot 1.
