Abandoned draft from a decade ago. Content exists at Golf Mill Shopping Center. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 21:53, 9 January 2016 (UTC)

- Comment:The draft was [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Edison/Golf_Mill_Shopping_Center&oldid=89382697 put in my userspace at my request] Nov 21, 2006, by User:TheProject, after that user deleted it after an AFD in 2006, allowing only 2 hours and 12 minutes from nomination to speedy deletion. I as a relatively inexperienced user at the time, had thoughts of finding refs and recreating the article. Of course, the history was needed, to show who had contributed what to it. The placement in my userspace, apparently a copy and paste, did not seem to bring the history. But then a totally different stub article about the mall was put into mainspace [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Golf_Mill_Shopping_Center&oldid=112781871] on March 5, 2007 by User:Billboardmister. The earlier article under the same name does not show up in the history of the new version.[https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Golf_Mill_Shopping_Center&oldid=173322522 It was later noted] via a tag that the article had previously been at AFD, although it was the older version which had been to AFD and been deleted, and then the new article received a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Golf_Mill_Shopping_Center_(2nd_nomination) second AFD nomination], which resulted in "Keep," with even User:TenPoundHammer !=voting "Weak keep" since it was a superregional mall. I merely sought to preserve the information in the first deleted version, since it was a superregional mall. Before this 2006 article is deleted, perhaps someone with tech skills could point out where it is in article history. It should not have disappeared utterly such that not even an admin can find it. Did Wikipedia lose some history in 2006? This violates the intellectual property rights of whomever contributed to the 2006 article. I see no need to keep the draft in my userspace, but I question why all trace of it was expunged from mainspace when it was deleted. I can see other deleted articles, as an admin.Edison (talk) 22:33, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
- Delete Found the edit history of the 2006 version of this article in the article history under "view deleted edits" which is only viewable by administrators, oversighters, researchers, and checkusers. I am now happy for the old version to be deleted from my subpage. I do not plan to add any of it to the present version of the article. Edison (talk) 00:22, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
