NOTE: This is a FLOW page.
Co-op/Mentorship_match was an experimental project funded by the WMF and shut down 14 months ago[https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia_talk%3ACo-op&type=revision&diff=686572146&oldid=682675959]. The page appears to contain nothing but test edits. A similar defunct Flow page was recently sucessfully MFD'd. (MFD Article_request_workshop) Flow deployment has been contentious and WMF policy is that Flow pages should not be deployed without evidence of community consensus for it. I searched and could find no evidence to consensus to create this Flow page. It is possible that this page was created before that policy was established. Alsee (talk) 16:17, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Dead Flow page, no community consensus to implement Flow. BethNaught (talk) 16:22, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
::BethNaught, daaaaamn. How did you post so fast? lol. BTW, congrats on adminship. Maybe you can can be the one to delete the flow page :) Alsee (talk) 16:26, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
:::Because when you nominated the page for deletion, the creator notification was sent to WT:FLOW because User talk:Flow talk page manager redirects there. It seems Flow doesn't attribute board creation to a user! BethNaught (talk) 16:30, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
::::WTFBBQ^2. I already knew about that issue..... because the last time I nominated a flow page for MFD the notification landed at Village Pump Technical. My head almost exploded when I saw a message there with my signature on it. I had to check the page history to re-confirm whether my name was listed there too. Eventually I figured out what happened, but seeing my signature on a Village Pump post I didn't write was bizarre as hell. The fact that THIS notice landed at WT:FLOW is just more Flow fun and surprises. Alsee (talk) 17:22, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
:Delete. This was a test page during a stage when Flow was being considered for a limited basis for communication between mentors and newer editors within the project space. However, there were maintenance issues and inconveniences related to the actual timing based on when the Co-op was piloted that basically meant the implementation never happened. The Co-op is inactive, so I don't have any issue with deleting the page at this point simply because it doesn't serve a purpose. I, JethroBT drop me a line 23:17, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
- Delete - Hardly much and also nothing to suggest better yet perhaps. SwisterTwister talk 05:50, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
Comment - I, JethroBT was the main person behind the project and made ~63% of the four dozen edits there. The rest of the edits were either WMF or people experimenting with Flow test edits. I humbly submit that it's looking like a white Christmas. Alsee (talk) 07:26, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
