The result of the discussion was redirect to Wikipedia:WikiProject Countering systemic bias/Gender bias task force. This way the history is preserved if the project should ever be resuscitated. JohnCD (talk) 11:34, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

This already exists as a task force within Wikiproject Countering systemic bias - this project never got off the ground and should just be deleted. Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 14:54, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
- Delete - Indeed, this has been idle for years, never managed a single entry on the project talk page. I don't see anything much liking here either, [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Countering_systemic_gender_bias], so I don't see any benefit to leaving a redirect in place, searches that would find this would likely find "Countering systemic bias" without difficulty. --j⚛e deckertalk 18:48, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
- Delete Clearly unsupported by the project, not linked from anywhere, redundant. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 21:52, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
- Comment Typically, WikiProjects that are inactive and have no chance of being revived are marked
{{WikiProject status|defunct}} , they are not deleted (see :Category:Defunct WikiProjects). There is no reason to wipe this WikiProject from the historical record.
: Also, according to the MfD instructions, "If you are nominating a WikiProject, please post a notice at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Council, in addition to the project's talk page and the talk pages of the founder and active members." This needs to be done before considering deletion. (Liz Read! Talk! 13:22, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
::thanks Liz. Just notified. I don't think we need to keep all defunct projects, especially ones that never even got off the ground - and especially given the scope of this one is currently managed by an active wikiproject.--Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 13:51, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
- Redirect to Wikipedia:WikiProject Countering systemic bias/Gender bias task force as a likely search term or synonym (the distinction between WikiProjects and task forces isn't always especially clear). While most of this is boilerplate, someone could potentially revive this as its own WikiProject, so I don't see the benefit to deletion. No objections to keeping, since it's already appropriately tagged. --BDD (talk) 17:41, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
- Keep Why delete all wiki-history (especially that related to systemic bias)? As User:Liz said, it should be marked appropriately, but not deleted. XOttawahitech (talk) 18:00, 6 April 2014 (UTC)
- Redirect per BDD. — Scott • talk 18:54, 6 April 2014 (UTC)
- Keep. There is no deadline (WP:TIND). Activity may happen in the future.
