:The result of the discussion was delete
. From its inception, this redirect seems confused. As a reminder for the "delete" participants below, redirects do not need to adhere to our neutrality principles. That being said, I think this one ends up as delete — usage is slim-to-none, and where it is, it appears to be used as an attempt to disparage rather than a legitimated name. I'm not convinced a dab would be useful.
This should not be construed to prevent recreation toward The Satanic Bible, although I'm likewise not convinced there's any support for that outside the idea that Satan=Hell. ~ Amory (u • t • c) 01:11, 20 April 2018 (UTC)

WP:NPOV / WP:ATTACK redirect. Appears to be based on [http://nzconservative.blogspot.ca/2010/04/new-york-times-aka-hells-bible.html]. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 20:51, 3 April 2018 (UTC)

- Keep - Per [https://www.google.com/search?num=30&newwindow=1&biw=640&bih=400&ei=qAbEWtPWDoSkzwLi2a-4CA&q="Hell%27s+Bible"+"New+York+Times"&oq="Hell%27s+Bible"+"New+York+Times"&gs_l=mobile-gws-serp.12...0.0..37798...0....0.0.............mobile-gws-wiz-serp.FGrrpYED%2B80%3D this Google search], it does have some usage as a derogatory term for the NYT in the conservative and religious blogospheres. It doesn't matter whether or not it shows up on Google's News tab (it actually does). Since the point of a redirect is to get people to the desired topic, this one is doing its job. - BilCat (talk) 23:00, 3 April 2018 (UTC)
:*Yes, but Hell's Bible is also a term for King James Version [https://books.google.ca/books?id=rwOcEnxGKUQC&pg=PA346&lpg=PA346&dq=%22Hell%27s+Bible%22&source=bl&ots=RwLMpYHAkK&sig=LrJe1SFDWfiIAOoJaENb_SZpP5U&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjv6tqKn5_aAhWLy1MKHZRWDHYQ6AEIfzAR#v=onepage&q=%22Hell's%20Bible%22&f=false], a series of albums by Jason Lee Javsen [https://open.spotify.com/album/5ihGQFNG8FqTJT304lHoR6] / [https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Jason_Lee_Jasven/Hell%27s_Bible_-_Chapter_5/366095] (could be redirect to Encyclopaedia Metallum?) And it could easily refer to The Satanic Bible. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 23:33, 3 April 2018 (UTC)

- Disambiguate as Headbomb mentioned, this term can refer to multiple topics. feminist (talk) 10:42, 11 April 2018 (UTC)
- Disambiguate seems to most appropriate given the presented evidence/information above. --TheSandDoctor Talk 19:10, 12 April 2018 (UTC)

:I'd be fine with a disambiguation page personally, although with some explanation for the term as it relates to the NYT. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 02:40, 13 April 2018 (UTC)
:: With MOS:DABMENTION it would have to be described in the NYT article somewhere. Same if it refers to KJV or the Encyclopedia Metallum. There isn't a Wikipedia article for Jason Lee Javsen. For Satanic Bible, not really. So unless there are other candidates, only the last one would make sense as a primary topic. Retarget to The Satanic Bible or Delete AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:56, 13 April 2018 (UTC)
