I think it should be retargeted to Klay Thompson, the basketball player (note the spelling with K). He is probably much better known than the tennis player, and I think most people searching for "Clay Thompson" are looking for the "Klay Thompson" article, but believe his name is spelled the more common way, with a C. • Reverse. The title of the tennis player should be at "Clay Thompson" as he's the only notable person with that spelling per WP:SMALLDETAILS. Mutual hatnotes exist for navigational purposes and to prevent confusion.
