Dicken's last words. Not convinced this is a useful redirect over e.g. On the Ground, though I can see a WP:SMALLDIFFS argument. Google hits are the song and the occasional reference to "on the ground" either physically or metaphorically ("boots on the ground"). Rusalkii (talk) 23:33, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
:Retarget to On The Ground. In my humble opinion, redirects that are textually similar to a specific and easily defined topic but have slightly different capitalization or punctuation should not point to MOS:EASTEREGG topics on the basis of obscure cultural references. That's what the Googles are for. Carguychris (talk) 16:38, 8 February 2025 (UTC)
- Delete per the period/full stop that does not exist in any title on Wikipedia, in addition to there being precedent to delete redirects like this (period/full stop at the end) throughout the years via other RfD discussions. Steel1943 (talk) 14:10, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
- Delete, unlikely to be navigated to. No evidence that people search for people based on their last words anyway, much less by searching in a structured & punctuated sentence over other terms that are far more plausible and less surprising locations such as On The Ground. Which doesn't have affinity for the period, so it should be deleted. Utopes (talk / cont) 13:31, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
