This user has been blocked multiple times for incivility and personal attacks. He just got back, and started doing it again (and without admin intervention). After I reported him, the above IP began making false accusations that I was doing the same thing as AOluwatoyin. This IP writes in the same style as him, and even makes the same personal attacks against me as him. He is obviously a sock puppet, but I was told to make a check user request, so I'm doing it. -- LGagnon 03:02, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

:I am very strongly opposed to a checkuser being performed in these circumstances due to privacy concerns. Note policy number one at the top of this page: Due to the effort involved, difficulty of interpretation of results and privacy issues raised, checkuser is a last resort for difficult cases. Use other methods first. I do not believe I made any personal attack, rather I have been accused of being a sockpuppet simply because I have a similar writing style as another individual. I am not a sockpuppet of AOluwaytin, we probably don't even live in the same country. If you do decide to perform the check, then I would ask that you please explain how this fits in the the policy detailed above.--142.161.176.66 05:50, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
