- {{Tfd links|Welcome-Child}}
I understand the intention with which this was created but worry that the benefits of this sparsely-used template are outweighed by at least two issues. First, I don't think we should be adding a specific template to the talk pages of users that we think are young children. Second, there is a possibility that the recipient will interpret the second paragraph as a prompt to confirm whether they are a young child, which they should not do if they actually are. Using one of the generic welcome templates and taking a more discreet approach would be preferable. DanCherek (talk) 15:27, 30 January 2022 (UTC)

This is the second time this has been nominated after the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2020_September_30#Template:Extended_techniques last one] went unopposed before being closed. The main gist is that the contents of this template have been absorbed into the larger Template:Musical techniques. Why? I Ask (talk) 12:07, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- Merge per nom. Clearly we don't need both. Content differs marginally but that's no big deal. I'm assuming that Extended techniques is a subset of Musical techniques so the name proposed {{tl|Musical techniques}} seems preferable and this one can merged then deleted. Sidebars containing mostly external links. However WP:SIDEBAR specficially says "external links should not be included in navigation templates." I know we're trying to provide a public service but this is not the way. A sidebar is ... "a grouping of links used in multiple related articles to facilitate navigation between those articles in Wikipedia". These are nothing like that. Nigej (talk) 11:58, 30 January 2022 (UTC)

Unused medal header. Used to be used at articles like 2011 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships – Women's vault but all such articles have been WP:BLANKANDREDIRECT to the parent articles and this template is no longer of use. Nigej (talk) 08:15, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
:Delete per nom. Also design-wise it isn't built with modern usage so would need to be rebuilt anyways. Gonnym (talk) 15:28, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
