Welcome to the Radio WikiProject. We are a group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of radio.
Goals
- The goal of this project is to create, expand, and maintain Wikipedia articles related to radio, including radio propagation and reception, radio programming, radio personalities, the business of radio, and internet radio. The parent project, WikiProject Telecommunications, covers the categories Telecommunications engineering and Telecommunications and their subcategories. The descendant project, WikiProject Radio Stations, covers the creation and maintenance of pages for specific radio stations. WikiProject Amateur radio works with the field of amateur radio, and WikiProject Podcasting handles podcasts.
Scope
- This project intends to include within its scope the science of radio, radio programming, radio personalities, the business of radio, and internet radio, as well as any other radio-related matters not covered by any existing projects. All of these articles should be included in the :Category:Radio.
