See this page for new areas of discussion: talk page WP SK roads. Input is requested relating to notablity and which SK roads and highways merit articles.

There have been two highway articles up for peer review. Saskatchewan Highway 11, Saskatchewan Highway 58 and Saskatchewan Highway 1 are still at highways peer review. Saskatchewan Highway 913 could go for a good article nomination. Achievement of good article or Feature article status would give direction for the project to follow.

There has been quite a number of Saskatchewan community articles created as of late. Experienced editors are requested to help improve articles to good article or feature article status.

  • {{tl|Saskatchewan topics}} template needs new articles such as Tourism in Saskatchewan. The template currently wikilinks to articles, lists and categories. The lists and categories should be replaced with new articles where appropriate.

  • Saskatchewan is growing in content on Wikipedia The assessment rating of articles shows a great number of articles as stub and start class. An improvement in quality would be the logical next step. There are two Top importance Saskatchewan articles both at B-class:Canadian English and Saskatchewan. Of the 34 high importance articles, only 1 article made it to feature status ( Louis Riel ) and 2 have passed good article criteria. Wish list: Have a larger quantity of Top importance and high importance articles about Saskatchewan. Improve quality of these articles to GA or feature article status!!

  • {{User|Drm310}} is our current editor to receive the Spotlight Saskatchewan Award. Drm310 has contributed to the growth of Saskatchewan articles on wikipedia through creation. Articles already existing have seen improved lead paragraphs, sections, section headings, consistency and standardized formatting. Drm310 has tirelessly contributed to the expansion and improved quality of articles, which is the current focus of the Wikproject. A large thank you goes out to Drm310 at this time. Pop by and give Drm310 a pat on the back for their work on WikiProject Saskatchewan.
    • Please feel free to sign up as a Spotlight administrator and nominate more excellent and notable Saskatchewan editors on Wikipedia who deserve attention, and honour. For every wikipedia user who is mentioned in the spotlight department, they will receive a Wikipedia Saskatchewan Ribbon on their user pages for excellent service! Every newsletter will bring an update to the Spotlight Department, so please keep tuned for other excellent contributors.
