Yalimo Regency is one of the regencies ({{langx|id|Kabupaten Yalimo}}) in the Indonesian province of Highland Papua. It covers an area of 4,320.29 km3, and had a population at the 2010 Census of 50,763Biro Pusat Statistik, Jakarta, 2011. which doubled to reach 101,973 at the 2020 Census;Badan Pusat Statistik, Jakarta, 2021. the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 106,740 (comprising 56,520 males and 50,230 females).Badan Pusat Statistik, Jakarta, 28 February 2024, Kabupaten Yalimo Dalam Angka 2024 (Katalog-BPS 1102001.9506) The administrative centre is at Elelim. The indigenous inhabitants of this well-forested mountainous area are the Yali people.
