Also released that month, was a single with chamber-pop savant Kishi Bashi, described as "a string-studded panorama volleying between nervy hyperactivity and heartfelt grandeur."{{Cite web |last=Staff |first=Fire Note |date=2024-11-01 |title=Fire Track: Yesness – "Nice Walrus (feat. The Needle Drop summarizes the group's formation with the following anecdote:
See You at the Solipsist Convention was born out of nearly one year of remote collaboration, where Dunn and Che shared their musical ideas between emails and texts. The pair was initially introduced through the label’s founder and curator, Karl Hofstetter, who helped piece together Yesness despite having never previously collaborated. He found instant chemistry in the pair, despite their physical distance; Dunn and Che only met in the same recording space after eight months of remote communication.The group prepared to embark on a U.S. tour, shortly after their record's street date.{{Cite web |last=Band |first=Yesness |title=Yesness Band |url=https://yesnessband.com/ |access-date=2024-12-09 |website=Yesness Band |language=en-PH}}{{Cite web |title=Seattle nightlife, events and more things to do — Seattle pi |url=https://www.seattlepi.com/thingstodo/?_evDiscoveryPath=/event/105982908n-yesness |access-date=2025-01-26 |website=Seattle Post-Intelligencer |language=en}}{{Cite web |date=2025-01-26 |title=Yesness Full Tour Schedule 2025 & 2026, Tour Dates & Concerts – Songkick |url=https://www.songkick.com/artists/10358204-yesness/calendar |access-date=2025-01-26 |website=www.songkick.com |language=en}}
