bEnd.3

bEnd.3 is a mouse brain cell line derived from BALB/c mice. The cell line is commonly used in vascular research and studies of endothelial brain tissue.{{cite journal|pmc=4636729|title=Novel characterization of bEnd.3 cells that express lymphatic vessel endothelial hyaluronan receptor|date=4 June 2014|journal=Lymphology|volume=47|issue=2|pages=73–81|first1=D|last1=Yuen|display-authors=etal|pmid=25282873}} In particular, bEnd.3 cells can serve as blood–brain barrier models for ischemia.{{cite journal|title=Characterisation of a mouse cerebral microvascular endothelial cell line (bEnd.3) after oxygen glucose deprivation and reoxygenation|first1=Kai|last1=Chin|display-authors=etal|journal=Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and Physiology|date=29 April 2016|doi=10.1111/1440-1681.12587|volume=43|issue=8 |pages=777–786|pmid=27128638 |hdl=11343/291923|s2cid=32058145 |hdl-access=free}}
