Note: The Austrian-ruled town of Teschen ({{langx|pl|Cieszyn}}; {{langx|cs|Těšín}}) became part of Poland in 1918, following the collapse of Austria-Hungary. The suburb of Sachsenberg (Polish: Saska Kępa), west of the river Olza (Polish: Olza; Czech: Olše) became part of Czechoslovakia as Český Těšín from 28 July 1920. The tramway connected the railway station (in Český Těšín) to the business centre (in Cieszyn). It suffered financial losses following division of the town and was therefore closed in 1921.
