The mayor of Mississauga is the head of Mississauga City Council and chief executive officer of the municipal government. The mayor is elected alongside city council every four years on the fourth Monday of October; there are no term limits.{{Cite web|title=AMO – Ontario Municipal Elections|url=http://www.amo.on.ca/AMO-Content/Municipal-101/Municipal-Elections|access-date=2020-09-25|website=www.amo.on.ca}} While in office, mayors are styled His/Her Worship.
The office is currently held by Carolyn Parrish, who assumed office on June 24, 2024, following her election in the by-election on June 10 to succeed former mayor Bonnie Crombie.
