• Do NOT use ..., but instead, do use ... (apparently, a question of optimisation for the parser… I don't know the CPU cycles lost with this non-optimized version, relatively to others, but it seems worthy that some people take care of it, and correct them manually. Many thanks to them and their dedication !

Let's try it, with three tildes : "@Éric38fr ^{(come chat & let's share a drink)}, Grenoble (France)". Here it works fine, while a few minutes ago, it was hell-bogus, with strange dummy characters appearing… :-(. I do not understand the origin of the 'blem… (signed with five tildes :) --23:19, 19 November 2020 (UTC).
  PS: aha ! it reappeared. An, invisible at edit time, character is inserted when typing tildes, which I can manually delete. Let's try now to catch one : "". Sigh ! Murphy's law works...
