I have chosen to call myself "Liangshan Yi" at Wikipedia because I am a native of the

Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in China. My family sent me to a university in

Europe for five years, and then I moved to the United States.

I have a new position as an instructor at an American university. I have married an

American woman of Chinese heritage, and this has produced many interesting features

of our life together.
