About Myself

Hi. My name is Tom Walker. I live in the city of Milton Keynes in the United Kingdom. I am a graduate of Oxford Brookes University, with an an MA in music, and have a degree in music production from the University of Northampton. I finished studying at Aylesbury Grammar School in 2008. I now work in public policy, philosophy and local government. In my spare time I am a photographer and guitarist, among other things.

The majority of my edits are in local matters or in my key interests, that is matters relating to Milton Keynes and the surrounding area, Rail transport, Spaceflight and science fiction. I am active in the future of Milton Keynes and am passionate about it, its design and its rightful status as a city. I am also passionate about space exploration and am a keen railway and aviation enthusiast.

Wikipedia and me

I have been a contributor to Wikipedia since 2005 and have made approximately one and half thousand edits since that time. I find contributing to the largest ever compendium of all humanity's knowledge to be enjoyable and worthwhile of the time invested into it.

I have created several articles. I began editing before my first edit (made possible as I did so with my IP of the time, which was 83.67.51.144 (type in search bar to see edits)).

I sometimes find myself at odds with wikipedia policy, especially when it comes to article deletions, in which case I prefer to keep everything unless it really is silly to. In my view WP should strive to be able to present to its viewers information about anything they desire.

To Conclude

Wikipedia is one part of my life, one of many. While I constantly strive to up the coverage of this encyclopeadia, I cannot work on it 24 hours a day.
