Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts?

Reversion on Pound Sterling

Hi, you made {{diff|Pound sterling|previous|1282907613|a revert}} to restore a direct link to a wikipedia page not in english (:fr:Gros tournois). As per the WP:MOS, direct links to foreign language pages are discouraged, as these are WP:ASTONISHing to users. The recommended way to handle links to foreign language pages is the inline interlanguage link template, as detailed at H:FOREIGNLINK. As you can see, redlinks are a desired and expected behavior to highlight to users that the target page does not exist in the english wikipedia, with a smaller link in brackets to the foreign language page, noted by language code. Murroogh

I noticed [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Murroogh&curid=19930822&diff=1284416515&oldid=1284416451 this edit] on Murroogh. I have seen edits like that before but do noy understand what the purpose and sense of such edits are. Can you enlighten me? The Banner talk 14:01, 7 April 2025 (UTC)

  • Following an RfC, administrator elections were permanently authorized on a five-month schedule. The next election will be scheduled soon; see Wikipedia talk:Administrator elections for more information. This is an alternate process to the RfA process and does not replace the latter.
  • An RfC was closed with consensus to allow editors to opt-out of seeing "sticky decorative elements". Such elements should now be wrapped in {{t|sticky decoration wrapper}}. Editors who wish to opt out can follow the instructions at WP:STICKYDECO.
  • An RfC has resulted in a broad prohibition on the use of AI-generated images in articles. A few common-sense exceptions are recognized.

Multiple warnings

Please review the user's [https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:%E9%9B%84%E5%A5%87&action=history talk] page to determine how many warnings they have received and whether they have deliberately removed them to avoid public scrutiny. Despite being involved in an edit war, why have they not been blocked yet?R.COutlander07@talk 09:57, 7 May 2025 (UTC)
