:List of coffeehouse chains
{{Short description|none}}
{{Dynamic list}}
This list of notable coffeehouse chains catalogues the spread and markets share of coffeehouses world-wide. This list excludes the many companies which operate coffeeshops within retail establishments, notably bookstores and department stores, or restaurants or convenience stores which also serve coffee. These chains frequently engage in coffee wars to gain brand and consumer market share. Starbucks, Dunkin', and Tim Hortons are the three largest coffee companies in the world, respectively.{{Cite web|url=https://www.statista.com/statistics/270091/coffee-house-chains-ranked-by-revenue/|title=Coffeehouse chains: leader revenues 2015|website=Statista|language=en|access-date=April 20, 2020}}{{Cite web|url=https://europe.businesschief.com/leadership/340/Top-10:-Global-Coffee-Shop-Chains|title=Top 10: Global Coffee Shop Chains|last=Burns|first=Sergio|date=December 14, 2014|website=europe.businesschief.com|access-date=April 20, 2020}} The largest coffee houses typically have substantial supply-chain relations with the world's major coffee-producing countries.{{Cite web|url=https://www.cnbc.com/2020/04/20/coronavirus-coffee-prices-rise-as-countries-hoard-food-supplies-lifting-farmers.html|title=Farmers could be winners as coffee prices spike and countries hoard during the pandemic|last=Tan|first=Weizhen|date=April 19, 2020|website=CNBC|language=en|access-date=April 20, 2020}} They collectively wield prominent influence in global coffee economics by setting commodity prices, maintaining value chains, and supporting developing economics.{{Cite book|last=Graaff|first=J. de|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=F_ITAQAAIAAJ|title=The Economics of Coffee|date=1986|publisher=Pudoc|isbn=978-90-220-0900-0|language=en}}{{Cite book|last=Siddique|first=M.
