Venues

There were two main venues; the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta and the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi with two secondary venues which will be used simultaneously with the main venue on the final match day of the group stage. Incidents

{{See also|List of violent spectator incidents in sports#2010}}

During the group match between Indonesia and Malaysia at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, some Indonesian fans are seen pointing green laser lights towards Malaysian goalkeeper Mohd Sharbinee when Indonesia scored their fifth goal as seen [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6GMwy44jUE here]. Other incidents also occurred soon after Malaysia's semi-final home leg against Vietnam, when Vietnamese goalkeeper Bùi Tấn Trường stated that he was targeted with green laser pointers from the Malaysian fans when he prepared for goal kicks and when saving the ball, which caused him to turn his head away.{{cite news |url=http://tuoitrenews.vn/cmlink/tuoitrenews/sports/malaysian-fans-shone-laser-in-vietnam-goalie-s-eyes-1.16934 |title=Malaysian fans shone laser in Vietnam goalie's eyes |work=Tuoi Tre News |date=17 December 2010 |access-date=28 December 2010 |archive-date=21 December 2010 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20101221111458/http://www.tuoitrenews.vn/cmlink/tuoitrenews/sports/malaysian-fans-shone-laser-in-vietnam-goalie-s-eyes-1.16934 |url-status=dead }} During the final, Malaysia's fans again targeted the opposition players with green laser pointers. The first leg, also at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, was stopped for eight minutes starting in the 53rd minute when the Indonesian players walked off in protest and complained to referee Masaaki Toma about the laser lights.{{cite news|url=http://www.thejakartaglobe.com/sports/fan-laser-beams-mar-malaysia-win-over-indonesia/413760 |title=Fan laser beams mar Malaysia win over Indonesia |work=Jakarta Globe |date=27 December 2010 |access-date=28 December 2010 |url-status = dead|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110112155950/http://www.thejakartaglobe.com/sports/fan-laser-beams-mar-malaysia-win-over-indonesia/413760 |archive-date=12 January 2011 }}{{cite news |url=https://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/news/newsid=1356351.html |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20101229165538/http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/news/newsid=1356351.html |url-status=dead |archive-date=29 December 2010 |title=Malaysia stride towards cup win |work=FIFA.com |publisher=Fédération Internationale de Football Association |date=26 December 2010 |access-date=28 December 2010 }} Malaysia scored their first goal right after play was resumed.{{cite news |url=http://www.aseanfootball.org/?p=3813 |title=Safee strikes twice as Malaysia take three-goal lead in first leg final |work=AseanFootball.org |publisher=ASEAN Football Federation |date=27 December 2010 |access-date=31 December 2010 }} The return-leg final in Jakarta saw Indonesian fans also pointing green laser lights again towards Malaysian goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat.{{cite news |url=http://bola.liputan6.com/international/201012/313537/Ada.Laser.di.GBK |title=Ada Laser di GBK |language=id |author=Triyadi, Bogi |publisher=Liputan 6 |date=29 December 2010 |access-date=20 January 2011 }}{{cite news|url=http://www.nst.com.my/nst/articles/45dev3/Article/ |title=Laser pointers not a problem |work=NST.com |publisher=New Straits Times |date=30 December 2010 |access-date=20 January 2011 |url-status = dead|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110205032122/http://www.nst.com.my/nst/articles/45dev3/Article |archive-date=5 February 2011 }}{{cite news |url=http://www.republika.co.id/berita/sepakbola/bolamania/10/12/31/155639-che-mat-mengaku-tidak-terganggu-sinar-laser |title=Che Mat Mengaku Tidak Terganggu Sinar Laser |language=id |author=Purwadi, Didi |work=Republika.co.id |publisher=PT Republika Media Mandiri |date=31 December 2010 |access-date=20 January 2011 }}{{cite news |url=http://bola.inilah.com/read/detail/1103352/kiper-malaysia-sindir-markus-horison-soal-laser |title=Kiper Malaysia Sindir Markus Horison soal Laser |language=id |author=Wiradinata, Avandi |publisher=Bola Inilah |date=31 December 2010 |access-date=20 January 2011 }}
