The 2031 AFC Asian Cup will be the 20th edition and mark the 75th anniversary of the AFC Asian Cup, started in 1956, the quadrennial international men's football championship of Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
Host selection

Football Australia have submitted an expression of interest to host the 2031 Asian Cup. Australia previously hosted the 2015 Asian Cup, co-hosted the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup with New Zealand and is scheduled to host the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup.

On 24 February 2025, the Central Asian Football Association announced a historic bid to bring the Asian Cup to Central Asia for the first time.
