At USA Today, Elysa Gardner rated the album three stars out of five, saying that "these new tracks represent EDM at its most breezily accessible". Paul McInnes of The Guardian rated the album one star out of five, stating that the release has only "one truly poignant moment."

In the United States, the album debuted at number 32 on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 8,000 copies.
