This 158-kilometer-long freeway starts in the city of Abyek in Qazvin Province and ends in Charmshahr in Tehran Province. The Abiq-Cheramshahr Freeway began construction on July 1, 2015, with a 30% participation from the Iranian government and 70% from the private sector, and passes through the provinces of Qazvin , Alborz , Markazi , and Tehran . The construction cost of this project was 247 trillion tomans, and Khatam al-Anbia Construction Headquarters invested 70% of the project, and was responsible for the design, construction, and operation of the project.
