Rosé is a New Zealand and South Korean singer and songwriter and a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink. She released her debut solo single "On the Ground" in March 2021, which broke two Guinness World Records as the most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a solo K-pop artist and for making her the first artist to reach number one on a Billboard Global chart as a soloist and as part of a group. With the album Rosie, Rosé earned another Guinness World Record for the highest-charting female K-pop artist on the US albums chart, peaking at number three on the Billboard 200. She also received nominations for Collaboration of the Year and Favorite K-Pop Artist at the American Music Awards of 2025 and Musician of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best K-pop Song at the 22nd Korean Music Awards.
