Professional career
=Pre-draft=
Coming out of Ohio State, Lattimore was projected to be a first round pick by the majority of National Football League (NFL) experts and analysts. He was invited to the NFL Combine, but chose not to perform the bench press, shuttle, and three-cone drill. He attended Ohio State's Pro Day and decided to only run positional drills for scouts and representatives. Although he had a history of hamstring injuries and was limited to a single year of starting experience in college, he was ranked the top cornerback prospect in the draft by NFLDraftScout.com, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, NFL analyst Bucky Brooks, and NFL analyst Mike Mayock.{{cite web|url=https://www.si.com/2017-nfl-draft-position-rankings| title=2017 NFL draft rankings: Top prospects by position| access-date=May 17, 2017| website=si.com|author=Chris Burke| date=April 24, 2017}}{{cite web|url=https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2017/story/_/id/19180310/ranking-top-100-prospects-available-2017-nfl-draft-espn-nfl-nation-reporter-jeff-legwold| title=Ranking 2017 Draft's Top 100 Prospects| access-date=May 17, 2017| website=ESPN.com| author=Jeff Legwold| date=April 22, 2017}}{{cite web|url=https://www.nfl.com/news/bucky-brooks-top-5-2017-nfl-draft-prospects-by-position-3-0-0ap3000000802450| title=Bucky Brooks' top 5 2017 NFL Draft prospects by position 3.0| access-date=May 17, 2017| website=NFL.com| author=Bucky Brooks| date=April 25, 2017}}
