Mount White is a {{convert|13667|ft|0|adj=on}} mountain summit in Chaffee County, Colorado, United States.

Description

Mount White is set {{convert|8|mi|km}} east of the Continental Divide in the Sawatch Range which is a subrange of the Rocky Mountains. The mountain is located {{convert|16|mi|km}} northwest of the community of Salida on land managed by San Isabel National Forest and can be seen from Highway 285. It ranks as the 169th-highest peak in Colorado. Precipitation runoff from the mountain's slopes drains into Browns Creek which is a tributary of the Arkansas River. Topographic relief is significant as the summit rises over {{convert|2450|ft|0}} above the creek in {{convert|1|mi|km|spell=in}}. Mt. Climate

According to the Köppen climate classification system, Mt. White is located in an alpine subarctic climate zone with cold, snowy winters, and cool to warm summers.{{cite journal | author = Peel, M.
