Shane Rashad Brathwaite (born 8 February 1990 in Bridgetown) is a hurdler from Barbados who competed in the 110 metres hurdles at the 2012 Summer Olympics but did not finish the race in the qualifying heats.{{cite web|title=Shane Brathwaite|url=http://www.london2012.com/athlete/brathwaite-shane-1051603/|work=london2012.com|accessdate=9 August 2012|url-status=dead|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20120807212525/http://www.london2012.com/athlete/brathwaite-shane-1051603/|archivedate=7 August 2012}} His gold medal in the octathlon at the 2007 World Youth Championships in Athletics made him the first person from Barbados to win a gold medal at a global athletics championship.
