Solidarity (Portuguese: Solidariedade, {{IPA|pt|solidaɾieˈdadʒi|pron}}) is a Brazilian social-democratic political party that uses the TSE number 77.{{cite web|title=Solidariedade|url=https://www.tse.jus.br/partidos/partidos-registrados-no-tse/solidariedade|website=Tribunal Superior Eleitoral|language=pt}} The party elected 13 deputies and one senator in the 2018 Brazilian general election.

In the 2022 Brazilian general election, Solidarity supported the pre-candidacy of Lula da Silva in the 2022 Brazilian general election under the alliance Let's go together for Brazil. It remains allied with the Workers Party & other coalition members.

Following the elections, the party announced plans to merge with the Republican Party of the Social Order.{{Cite web |title=Fusão de partidos pode garantir permanência de João Marra na Câmara de Patos de Minas |url=https://patoshoje.com.br/noticias/fusao-de-partidos-pode-garantir-permanencia-de-joao-marra-na-camara-de-patos-de-minas-76632.html |access-date=2023-01-12 |website=Patos Hoje |language=pt-br}} The Superior Electoral Court approved the merger on February 14, 2023.{{Cite web |title=TSE aprova fusão entre PROS e Solidariedade |url=https://noticias.uol.com.br/politica/ultimas-noticias/2023/02/14/tse-aprova-fusao-entre-pros-e-solidariedade.htm |access-date=2023-02-22 |website=noticias.uol.com.br |language=pt-br}}

Ideology

The party identifies itself as centre-left and social-democratic.{{cite web|url=https://www.brasil247.com/pt/247/poder/115953/Paulinho-ao-247-%E2%80%9CO-Solidariedade-%C3%A9-livre.htm|title=Paulinho ao 247: "O Solidariedade é livre|date=25 September 2013}} The party has strong links with Força Sindical, a labour union that historically strongly opposes the hegemony of Central Única dos Trabalhadores and other leftist labour movements in favor of a less ideological and more pragmatic approach, "Sindicalismo de Resultados" (Unionism of Results), which means less ideology and more direct gains for the working class.

The party supports a world-view following social constructionism and social constructivism.{{Cite web|title=Ideologia e Diretrizes|url=https://www.solidariedade.org.br/o-movimento/ideologia-diretrizes-e-programa-operacional-do-solidariedade/|access-date=2020-11-24|website=Solidariedade|language=pt-BR}}
