Talk:List of Delta Upsilon alumni/sandbox
File:Williams_College_-_West_College.JPG
The list of Delta Upsilon alumni includes initiated and honorary members of Delta Upsilon (ΔΥ), the sixth oldest international, all-male, college, Greek-letter social fraternity and the first and oldest non-secret fraternity in North America. Founded on November 4, 1834, at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, Delta Upsilon has established over 150 undergraduate chapters at colleges and universities across the United States and Canada in addition to numerous alumni chapters and alumni clubs. Although traditionally, members join as undergraduate chapter brothers, the Fraternity allows honorary memberships to be extended by both undergraduate and alumni chapters to, "any male person who has distinguished himself as a civic, cultural, educational, religious, business or professional leader..."{{cite web|url=http://www.deltau.org/files/constitution&bylaws.pdf |title=The Constitution and Bylaws of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity |accessdate=2010-03-20 |year=2004 |format=PDF |publisher=Delta Upsilon Fraternity }}.
Delta Upsilon has initiated over 110,000 men into its brotherhood since its founding and includes a United States President, a Canadian Prime Minister, a President of Colombia, numerous United States Senators, Congressmen, Supreme Court Justices, Members of the Canadian Parliament, Rhodes Scholars, and five Nobel Prize laureates.
