The Uproar Festival, also called the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, was an annual hard rock and heavy metal tour inaugurated in 2010 by John Reese and sponsored by Rockstar Energy Drink. The tour was also created by John Oakes, Darryl Eaton and Ryan Harlacher from the Creative Artists Agency, and Perry Lavoisne from Live Nation.{{cite magazine| last = Waddell| first = Ray| title = Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed To Headline Uproar Festival Tour| magazine = Billboard| date = May 3, 2010| url = http://www.billboard.com/articles/photos/live/958387/avenged-sevenfold-disturbed-to-headline-uproar-festival-tour| access-date = May 7, 2010}} Reese is also responsible for creating Mayhem Festival and the Taste of Chaos tour. Uproar Festival is the replacement for Reese's Taste of Chaos tour, as he was "running out of bands that fit within the profile of what Taste of Chaos was."{{cite web| last = Sciarretto| first = Amy| title = Uproar Tour Dates With Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour| work = Noisecreep| publisher = AOL Music| date = May 3, 2010| url = http://www.noisecreep.com/2010/05/03/uproar-tour-dates-with-disturbed-avenged-sevenfold-stone-sour/| access-date = May 6, 2010}}
