There is no present consensus for how to assess the notability of more complex and cross-categorization lists (such as "Lists of X of Y") or what other criteria may justify the notability of stand-alone lists, although non-encyclopedic cross-categorizations are touched upon in Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not § Wikipedia is not a directory. Lists that fulfill recognized informational, navigation, or development purposes often are kept regardless of any demonstrated notability. Editors are still urged to demonstrate list notability via the grouping itself before creating stand-alone lists. :Wikipedia:LISTCRITERIA and :Wikipedia:CSC describe how the this list should be complete.

The central span will be 3,100 feet from center to center of piers, and the shore spans will be 1,750 feet each, measured as above. The clear span of the central bay is to be 2,920 feet.

This hostelry occupied a site fronting on Broad street, and stood back on ground a little north of where the City Hall now stands. It

was a large, rough stone two story house, with wooden outbuildings. On its sign was perched, within the recollection of old people, the national bird of freedom. Within the memory of many persons still living it was known and spoken of generally as " The Washington Headquarters." After undergoing various changes, and serving at one time as a temporary Court House, it was torn down to give place to the City Hotel — the present City Hall.

Ellis Island is a U.S. national monument that is part of Statue of Liberty National Monument. The federally-owned island was the nation's busiest immigration inspection station, which between 1892 to 1954 processed approximately 12 million immigrants entering the country via the Port of New York and New Jersey. The main building has hosted a museum of immigration since 1990 while the Ellis Island Immigrant Hospital is closed to the general public.

In the 19th century, Ellis Island was the site of Fort Gibson, a component of the fortifications of New York Harbor. It later became naval magazine for storage of artillery. The first inspection opened in 1892 was destroyed by fire in 1897. The second station opened in 1900 and housed facilities for medical quarantines as processing immigrants. After 1924 Ellis Island was used primarily as a detention center; during both World War I and World War II its facilities were also used by the United States military.

The {{convert|27.5|acre|ha|abbr=|adj=on}} island in Upper New York Bay was greatly expanded by land reclamation between the late 1890s and the 1930s. A U.S. Supreme Court decision determined that it is largely part of New Jersey, while {{convert|3.3|acre}} comprising the original island and adjacent areas are part of New York.

When we have consensus editing that directly and explicitly violates extant policy, there are three choice paths ahead: (A) Stop violating policy; (B) Keep on merrily violating policy, which in effect renders all policy null and void; or (C) re-write the policy to reflect consensus editing. You seem to be happy with A, but I'm not.

A mistake (?), but if not, not sure what is being insinuated with my being happy with (A) nor your unhappiness about it. With (B), I do believe in Wikipedia:Be bold and Wikipedia:Ignore all rules to challenge policy that may not be in the benefit of Wikipedia, that consensus can change, nothing is in stone and do not take the extremist position that nudging policy "in effect renders all policy null and void." With (C) re-write the policy to reflect consensus editing, I'm realistic in acknowledging it sometimes takes it policy-writing time to catch up to the policy the community has decided (like blue lawss), but trust that it will. There's little compulsion to defend, uphold, or promote policies that are outdated (certainly when misconstrued, abused, suffering from tunnel vision, or smelling of ownership). I would suggest that policy, when quoted, should be subject to the same standard of verifiability (ie, examples/links) when interpreted to make (rather than score) a point POV. That would just make it easier to filter thru the POV-pumping one encounters sometime.(btw, my statements are in no way a opinion of your work

:::::A cursory view of county will show that that tier of government exists in many places as well as two of the 2nd & 4th largest countries in the world (India 1.2 billion w/ districts and Indonesia/261million regencies. On the other many nations don't a comparable state-level tier of government. Yet EN:Wikipedia does includes articles about US states politicians. More absurdly it automatically includes Jerry Apa (SD) and Allen Jaggi (WY) and Peter Leon (Toronto) and Michael Abel (NYC), but not county executives. How is that rational, let alone that encyclopedic? Seems glaringly inadequate. The inconsistency also does not address the question about constituent population represented. Something is broken. The remark was clearing bear poking. Bad enough, but worse, because it is of someone who is prevented by IBAN from responding. It's disgraceful and provocative behaviour. Any editor can to use the username of their choice, even their own. I does not, and should not, give any other editor the right to banter about it on Wikipedia. The remark is clearly a form (indirect) harassment of Alansohn, which should condemn. (irregardless of the structure the form of the volutunary or imposed editing restrictions). and RAN was wise to bring it to the community, harassment Alansohn, which was quietly by the person who crafted the IBAN

There are executive and legislative branches of the government in Hudson County, as well as constitutional offices.http://wwww.hudsoncountyclerk.org/county-officials/ County Officials], Hudson County, New Jersey. Accessed January 30, 2018. Tom DeGise is the county executive, whereas the other on list are freeholders (legislators who may have some administrative responsibility over some departments). They all need to meet the same notability criteria. That said: a governor, state senator, state assemblyman, or superior court justice also need to meet the same notability criteria. The logic here seems to suggest that that a bundled nomination could include a governor, state senator, state assemblyman, or superior court justice BECAUSE they all need to meet the same notability criteria. It would appear that you would give that a pass. If not, why not? Does it have something to do with the county-level? Are the different branches of government irrelevant?

Port Jesey/MOTBY

The port authority tried to buy 153 acres on the MOTBY site in 2008, but a Hudson County judge ruled that the BLRA was within its rights when it rescinded a contract to sell the property to the port authority for $50.5 million and then sold the land to Ports America for $90 million. Ports America Signs Bayonne Contract

http://www.joc.com/maritime-news/ports-america-signs-bayonne-contract_20071203.html

Ports America Group has signed an agreement to pay $90 million to buy a Bayonne, N.J., waterfront tract that the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey also contends it has a contract to purchase.

The Bayonne Local Redevelopment Authority voted unanimously on Nov. 26 to sell 153 acres at the former Military Ocean Terminal at Bayonne to Ports America for use as an auto terminal. The site includes 92 acres that are suitable for maritime development.

In the real world, property owned or leased by PANYNJ is important. That articles for part of the agency's mission/activities do not exist in Wikipedia is not a reason for non-inclusion in a navigation template, since the encyclopedia should strive to be complete.
